Easy Access to Frequently Used Documents
Description
The Work menu is a great feature that you can use to
keep an easily accessible list of your most frequently used Microsoft
Word documents.
In this lesson you will learn how to display the Work
menu, how to add documents to the menu, and how to open documents from
the menu. Lastly, you will learn how to remove documents from the
menu.
Display the Work Menu

Menu Path

Customize Dialog Box
-
Click the Commands tab
-
Single click to select the Built-in Menus
category
-
Single click to select the Work
command
-
Depress your left mouse button and drag
the Work command to anywhere on the menu bar

Click the Close button to exit the
Customize dialog box

Remove
a Document from the Work Menu

On your keyboard, depress the <Ctrl> plus
the <Alt> plus the <-> (dash) keys

The cursor will now look like a large, bold underscore

Click on the Work menu

Click on the document you want to remove
from the menu
