Description

Sometimes when you try to move a PowerPoint object to a particular location, the object keeps hopping over the area you want.  To fix this problem, you can turn off the Snap to Grid option.  Or you can temporarily bypass the Snap to Grid option by using your keyboard when dragging the object to where you want to place it.

Turn Off Snap to Grid

  • Turn on the Drawing Toolbar

    • Click on the View menu

    • Select the Toolbars command

    • Click the Drawing sub-command

  • From the Drawing Toolbar

    • Click on the Draw button

    • Move to the Snap command

    • Select the To Grid sub-command
