Meeting Minder
Description
During a Microsoft PowerPoint slide show presentation
you can use the Meeting Minder feature to record meeting minutes and
action items. At the end of the slide show you can use the Meeting
Minder to schedule a meeting, to export the meeting minutes to Microsoft
Word and/or to export action items into Microsoft Outlook's task list.
The steps in this lesson explain how to use the many features of the
Meeting Minder.

Meeting Minder Dialog Box - Meeting Minutes

The Meeting Minder will display on top of your
slide show presentation

Click the Meeting Minutes tab

Type any minutes you wish to record
during the meeting

Click the OK button to return to your
slide show

NOTE: Your audience will be able to
see what you are typing in the Meeting Minder. You may wish to
put the cap on the projector lens if you don't want the audience to
watch you type.

Click the Action Items tab

Type the action item description,
the assigned to name and the due date

Click the Add button to include the action
item in the list

Click the OK button to return to your
slide show

NOTE: The Meeting Minder will add a
slide to the end of your presentation that will contain the action
item descriptions, assigned to and due dates information. Use
this slide to wrap up your meeting and to confirm who is doing what
and when!

Click the Schedule button to use Microsoft
Outlook's Calendar to schedule a follow up meeting

Fill in the Outlook New Appointment dialog
box, when you click the Save and Close button the system will
return you to your slide show
