Display Message Size in the View Pane

Description

You can easily display the message size as a separate column in the view pane of any folder that contains email messages.

Using the Mouse

  • Single click to open any folder that contains email messages

    • For example, the Inbox or the Sent Items folders

  • Position your mouse over the displayed column headings in the view pane

  • Click your right mouse button to display a shortcut menu for the view pane

  • Select the Field Chooser command

  • Scroll down the list of fields until you see the Size field

  • Position your mouse over the Size field

  • Drag the Size field to the view pane Column Headings

    • NOTE:  the red arrows will indicate where the Size field will be placed when you let go of the mouse button

  • Release the mouse button once you have placed the Size field where you would like it displayed in the column headings

  • HINT:  You can also remove fields from the Column Headings by dragging the field back to the Field Chooser dialog box

  • Click the Close (X) button on the Field Chooser title bar to close the dialog box
